Day 69: (July 12) Yellow Butterfly Trading Post to Mitchell's Camp (Spanish) 84.3km

We continued along highway 17 today until the clouds were very dark and signaled that a storm would be coming. Our weather showed a severe thunderstorm watch, so we figured we should stay put. As many campgrounds along the highway were popular with RVs, we were the only tenters. The lovely owners of the campground, Don and Mary, took pity on us and let us set up in their basement to avoid the rain.

There were a few bugs, so we still slept in the tent, but it was nice that we didn't have to use the fly!
